Food & Beverage Supervisors

PLACE OF WORK: Oasis

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing golfers with food, beverages and snacks on the golf course and at the Oasis snack bar. Bartending experience, with knowledge of Arizona Liquor Laws. Provide excellent customer service to all golfers. Flexible schedule to include weekends. Must be minimum of 19 years of age to serve alcohol.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
2. Bartending experience with current liquor license. Full knowledge of Arizona Liquor Laws.
3. Prepare sandwiches, cook and serve hot dogs and hamburgers at the Oasis, and sell sandwiches on the beverage carts.
4. Ability to lift heavy equipment (to include containers of ice, bottles and cans of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food supplies)
5. Good math skills to calculate sales and give accurate change.
6. Stamina to work long shifts, when required.
7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
8. Professional appearance, following the Appearance Standards guidelines
9. All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be minimum of 19 years of old (to serve alcohol).
• Knowledge of Arizona Liquor Laws, with a current liquor license.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good math skills to calculate sales and give accurate change.
• Food Handlers card

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to cook and serve hot dogs and hamburgers.
• Ability to make sandwiches.
• Ability to serve drinks and snacks
• Ability to stand, sit, knee, squat, crouch, walk,finger
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds from a standing, squat or crouch, to include containers of ice, bottles and cans of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food supplies
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve any guest issues.
• Stamina to work long shifts, when required.
• Ability to safely drive a beverage/golf cart.

• Weather conditions: ability to work in the cold, heat and rain, as long as we have golfers out on the course.

• Understanding that the resort’s scheduling needs change due to guest occupancy and hours scheduled to work may be less in the quieter summer months.
