Golf Practice Facility Attendant

Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the driving range and practice facilities.

This includes sanding and seeding divots, edging and raking bunkers, moving range stands, irrigating, weed-eating, cutting cups and spraying weeds.


Abilities Required:


1)   Knowledge in the rules and etiquette of golf.

2)   Ability to communicate in English to guests and co-workers with proper grammar.

3)   High School Graduate or currently enrolled in school.

4)   Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

5)   Maintaining the integrity of the driving range, and practice area.

6)   Ability to manage and prioritize projects and schedules.

7)   Knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf.

8)   Communicate to guests and visitors with a positive attitude.

9)   Ability to focus on intense attention to details.

10) Able to communicate to rangers and golf course maintenance in regards to players needs.

11) Able to accept constructive criticism for development improvements.


Essential Job Functions:


1)    Communicate with the Director of Golf, Golf Course Superintendent and Golf Professionals.

2)    Maintaining the integrity of the Driving Range, and Practice Area.

3)    Insure bunkers are edged and raked.

4)    Keep supplies current and well stocked.

5)    Insure all equipment is properly maintained.

6)    Insure divots are sanded and seeded in a timely manner

7)    Insure that cleanliness is maintained at all times.

8)    Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests in all environments.

9)    Maintain positive guest and employee relations.

10) Be familiar with all products and services of the Resort

11) Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.




Ambitions of becoming a Golf Course Superintendent or Director of Agronomy.


Rate of Pay:   $8 hour
